Now that we have had to bid adieu to ITV’s Poirot, it’s the BBC’s turn to take up the Agatha Christie challenge.
Their first effort will be two new Tommy and Tuppence Beresford adaptations. Christie wrote four Tommy and Tuppence novels (and some short stories) that follow the couple’s sleuthing adventures.
The two novels being adapted this time are The Secret Adversary and N or M? and will be set in the 1950s. Both will consist of three episodes and are due to begin sometime this month (July).
